Total Station is a series of landscape paintings that translates one property, Mulberry Fields in St. Mary’s County, Maryland both vertically and horizontally at the same time. Like the electronic instrument used in surveying and building construction, these painting explore the idea of surveying distance on site to a remote interpreter off site.
